Meaningful Conversations, Practical Tools, Lasting Change

Healing, growth and rebuilding rarely happen in a straight line. Sometimes meaningful change begins when we are given the space to stop, reflect and ask ourselves different questions.

Workshops can be offered as individual sessions or developed into a customized series built around our three core pillars

A Path Forward

Three pillars designed to support healing, self-discovery and intentional growth.

Workshops can be offered as individual sessions or developed into a customized series built around three core pillars:

HEAL

HEAL what hurts.

Before we can move forward, sometimes we need to understand what we have been carrying—and why.

HEAL workshops create space to explore grief, loss, guilt, shame, emotional expression, triggers, nervous-system awareness and healthy coping.

Participants are encouraged to approach their experiences with curiosity rather than judgment while gaining a deeper understanding of how the past may still be influencing the present.

Workshop topics may include:

  • Grieving the Life I Thought I Would Have
  • Grieving What Didn't Die
  • Guilt, Shame & Accountability
  • Triggers Are Messengers
  • When Healing Isn't Linear
  • The Emotional Backpack: What Are You Still Carrying?

BECOME

BECOME who you choose.

There comes a point when the question begins to shift from “What happened to me?” to “Who do I want to become from here?”

BECOME workshops explore identity, self-awareness, limiting beliefs, values, boundaries, mindset and rebuilding trust in ourselves.

Participants are invited to examine the stories they have been living by, reconnect with who they are and consciously decide what they want to carry forward.

Workshop topics may include:

  • The BECOMING Workshop: Who Are You When Survival Is No Longer the Goal?
  • The Stories We Tell Ourselves
  • Rebuilding Self-Trust: Keeping the Promises We Make to Ourselves
  • Boundaries Without Guilt: Boundaries Aren't Punishment
  • Radical Self-Awareness
  • Who Am I Without the Labels?
  • Values: Who Do I Want to Be?
  • From Reaction to Response
  • The Stories We Carry

BUILD

BUILD what comes next.

Healing isn't only about understanding where we've been. Eventually, we also have to decide where we're going.

BUILD workshops help turn insight into intentional action through goals, habits, relationships, routines, accountability and purpose.

Participants begin exploring what it means to create a life that isn't simply about surviving—but about living with greater meaning, direction and intention.

Workshop topics may include:

  • The Wheel of Life: Rebuilding a Whole Life
  • S.M.A.R.T. Goals for Real Life
  • Purpose After Pain
  • Beyond Survival: Learning How to Live Again
  • The Next Right Step
  • The Courage to Begin Again

Bring a Workshop to Your Organization

Interested in creating a meaningful experience for the people you serve?

Let's connect.

Julie would love to learn more about your organization, the people you support and what you hope participants will take away from the experience.

Together, we can explore a workshop or series that meets people where they are—and helps them take the next step toward where they want to be.

Let's Talk About a Workshop
  • Who are your grief, healing and personal growth workshops designed for?

Workshops are designed for organizations, programs and communities supporting people through grief, recovery, life transitions, personal growth and rebuilding. This may include addiction treatment and recovery programs, community organizations, support groups, nonprofits, wellness programs, women's groups and grief or bereavement programs.

  • Can workshops be customized for our organization or group?

Yes. Every group is different. Workshop topics, activities and facilitated discussions can be customized around the needs, experiences and goals of your participants. Organizations can choose from existing workshop topics or work with Julie to develop a more tailored experience.

  • Do you offer grief and loss workshops?

Yes. Grief is an important part of the HEAL pillar and can include traditional grief as well as ambiguous loss, changing relationships, lost opportunities and grieving the life someone expected to have. Workshops can be adapted to the needs and experiences of the group.

  • Can we book a workshop series?

Yes. Workshops can be offered individually or combined into a multi-session series. A customized series can incorporate topics from the HEAL, BECOME and BUILD pillars to take participants from understanding what they carry to exploring who they want to become and creating what comes next.

  • What happens during a group workshop?

Depending on the topic and participants, workshops may include facilitated conversation, guided reflection, practical tools, self-awareness exercises and interactive activities. The goal is to create a supportive environment where participants can explore meaningful topics and leave with insights and practical tools they can carry into everyday life.

  • How long are the workshops?

Workshop length and format can be tailored to your organization, program and participants. Julie will work with you to determine an appropriate format based on your group's needs and the topic being explored.

  • Are workshops only for addiction and recovery programs?

No. While these workshops can complement addiction treatment and recovery programs, they are also available to community organizations, support groups, nonprofits, wellness programs, women's groups, grief and bereavement programs, and other groups supporting people through healing, change and personal growth.

  • How do we bring a workshop to our organization?

Start by reaching out and sharing a little about your organization, the people you serve and what you hope participants will take away from the experience. Julie can then recommend an existing workshop or explore a customized workshop or series for your group.
